I was inspired by my mother at an early age to make the world a more equitable place. This passion, along with my love of science, leadership, and medicine is what has driven me throughout my career. I have held progressive leadership roles in diverse academic environments and my leadership experience spans from research to creating clinical partnerships across systems of care. I have extensive experience mentoring clinicians, investigators, and health care leaders; leading large research organizations and changing academic and health care system cultures, structures, and processes - all through a health equity lens. I have dedicated myself to continuously advancing my leadership effectiveness with a focus on helping the organizations and individuals I serve to succeed and achieve their goals.
